I am looking to buy a cheap(ish) 125cc cycle after I've done my CBT, then use it to do my test and a bit after. Ive been shopping around and all l see are Pioneer Nevada is and Lifan Arizona is which all seem to sound rather terrible. l want something that wont fall apart as l ride, and at the same time to be a nice looking cruiser as well.. I'd look silly on a small bike.

excellent bike

l do not know ur body size/weight from ur description, but since u say u would look silly on a small bike l would steer clear of the 125cc range all together. Get at least a Honda Rebel or a Suzuki GZ250. Both r 250cc Powerplants & r not ultra tiny. Both have very good build, reliability, & r backed by a super 1 year warranty.

Both bikes weight is r around 300 pounds, so their still very light & easy to ride. Great for beginners & for the road cource.

A 250 will be enough grunt to pull on regular roads, but will not be good on the Interstate. It would be SUPER DANGEROUS to take a 125cc on a interstate or even heavy traffic on a highway.

Consider taking a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Beginners Riding Cource. l did & the instruction & coaching probably has saved my butt quite a few times in the scant 7 months I've been riding. Worth every penny, & they supply the bike.

My first bike was a Suzuki S40 Cruiser. 650cc Big Single Cylinder with only 30hp. GREAT for somebody my gurth to learn on, even if l have allready outgrown it & really need to get something faster. *** l am tearing the engine up every time l take it on the interstate.*** So even with my large 650, after only 7 months I've outgrown it.

Whatever u choose, keep u eyes peeled for the other guy! As my instructor said & l quote.
