Hi l dont own these bike the are my friends grandpa. l have license on driving a motorcycle but it seems everything about these motorcycles is diffrent no keys, clutch isnt in the right place, have to push some knobs on the carbs/engine, were are the gears were is the brakes... when is the plugs on when off.?? l just wanna know all the things needed step by step to operate the bike.
l do know the modern bikes left lever clutch left leg gears right lever f brakes right leg rear brakes. but how is that with the old bikes.>?

the gearshhift is on the right brake lever on the left. It has a Amal Concentric carb. There is a plunger on the right side of the carb called a tickler.You push the plunger down untill gas flows out then kick it life.

These are very valuable motorcycles, especially the Vincent. l would not take a chance on ridding one until l was a very very good motorcyclist. Vincents can be worth $50,000 plus dollars. Be Safe

Bonneville.. ( when cold ) Gas on, Tickle (to flood ) carbs, Kick to suck gas into cyl, Turn key to ON Yell..CONTACT ! Kick and twist throtle open at the same time.

stay away from both of those bikes,as said allready the vincent is not a toy and someone who hasnt a clue can bodge things very easy and cost
your friends grandpa serious money to repair what you brake.
