My husband and l are wanting to buy a couple of new Scooters to use on camping trips and may use a little around the neighborhood.(I am not interested in older models --too much upkeep)

Kymco is are the most cost effective and reliable scooters you can get. You may also take a look at Vespa (especially the GTS).

l would have to recommend Kymco. They are only surpassed by Piaggio and Vespa. THey rank higher than all of the japanese brands. They have many different styles and sizes from 50cc to 500cc. l have been around them for over six years and hardly ever do more than normal maintenance oil changes and things like that. They come with a 2 year warranty that can be extended. Dollar for dollar you can not buy a better scooter. These are not chinese imports
