ok l can bring the front wheel up
but when l attempt to keep it up l struggle
with it and l always sit in 3rd or stand in 2nd
but with both of theese l cant keep it going
any ideas or tips?

if you wanted a mono cycle why did you buy a 2 wheeled one?

keep practicing, eventually you will get it.

then you can start working on circles

How much do you weigh. The issue maybe that you simply do not have enough power. but if your standing up and leaning over the bars and the wheel starts to drop you need to give it more throttle if that do not work try pulling up on the bars when the wheel is dropping if that do not work then buy a 450 cause you just do not have enough power. If the bike has been heavily used it may need a new set of rings.

Why would you want to, or are you just stupid. l have ridden, (and still ride), m/cs for 46 years and have never pulled a wheelie on purpose. But then l have only come off a bike three times, once, when l was hit by a car, and twice when l laid the bike down to avoid an accident. If bikes where meant to run on one wheel, they would not have given them two.

get it up nice and high in 3rd, shut off change into 4th and wide open throttle,move in closer to the tank with your body will increase lift .oh and practice.

Simple answer is DON'T

Keep the roads safe for good law abiding rider & keep u idiots off the road

Now l have no problem with bike stunts but not on our roads keep them for track & specialist days

If u want to do ur bit to ensure that the authorities either price bikers off the roads or introduce so much legistation that prevents us from enjoying our passion then u continue to ride stupidly on the road but make no complaints when u r forced into not being able to continue.

Stunts like wheelies & the othe stupid antice that the minority get up to does not portray biking in a very good light & quite frankly we need all the help we can get

Please please keep these riding stunts well & truly off the roads & start to make bikers appear more responsible to preserve our passion

The best technique is not to bother. You are going to end up coming of it and it will be just your luck to hit the only rock in your field of soft ground
