im 15 and about 170cms, and ive ridden a genuine thumpstar a couple of times and thats pretty easy to ride but im still not very good. all l wanna do is stuff around on it, not race or jump. ive been looking at a yz85, dr-z125 and a crf150

well mitch its prette easy. ok u have ridden a thumpster so u have experience. Dont go for a yz 85, awesome bike but with u age age & height ur better off on a 2 stroke 125 or a larger 4 stroke.

If u have the money, l would go for the crf 150, decent size & power for you, at ur age l wouldnt go for a 125 4 stroke, u will be craving a lot more speed which they arnt really good for if ya wanna go faaast.

l personally would not recommend any 2 stroke motocross bike, 85 or 125, for a novice rider that is just joy riding & not racing. l think the CRF150F or even 230F would be perfect for ur needs. 2 strokes, especially smaller ones, r very temperamental & tend to foul spark plugs if not ridden aggressively enough. If u feel u r an aggressive rider a 125 or 85 would be fine, but only u know the answer to that. You cannot just putt around at a slow speed on these bikes though or u will foul plugs.
