l am not trying to insult anyone; I am just curious. Do they need the torque more than horsepower? Is it more roomier for a belly? Is the low CG and bike is suspension better set up for fat guys? Do prenat women prefer to ride Harleys?

There must be ergonomic considerations because l NEVER see heavy guys on sportbikes.

LOL, l am not a guy, nor overweight, nor pregnant .and l do ride a Harley. There is a mix on Harleys. l do believe that l have not seen any large dudes on crotch rockets..but u have to look at the posture on it.it would not be conducive to a larger frame (but what do l know.. l think they r uncomfortable as hell).
Harley is a great ride & the weight is distributed perfectly for me ( l am short & small framed). l am in the smallest bike, the 883L ,but l have heard from all my girlfriends that ride (vrod, nightrod, dynaglide) that they r very good with the weight distribution as well.

l have seen overweight guys riding mopeds .As for sport bikes l am of average weight 5'10 195lbs and will not ride sport bikes as l hate the riding position & the looks of the bike. & yes Most women prefer riding Harleys.

l am 6'3'' and weigh 300lbs l am an ex cop and ex weightlifter. l ride a Harley now, but l have owned and ridden just about every brand and model of bike out there. why do not you and l meet up and l will explain it to you in person.

l am not picking on small or large people or the type of bike they ride.

It just makes sense that a larger person would ride a Harley (or for that matter a cruiser).

1. There is not much space for any ''extra'' weight on a sportbike although l have seen guys that exceed 250lbs dragracing Busa's. There was/is a class for the heavier guys also.

2. Any cruiser is going to be more comfortable for a larger man/women to ride. Compare these two sitting on a bar stool with ur feet tucked twoard the back of the stool or sitting in a nice comfortable recliner. You cant compare the two if comfort & riding r the objective (and weight is an issue).

This is what matters, The love to ride no matter what size (bike or person)

l feel sorry for the people that have answered this question in a negative manner. Any Brand, Any Model, Any Size.
