No, no, no.
A lovely bike but only for experienced riders, the Duke is a thoroughbred, light and powerful and likely to kill a first time rider.
Save your money, buy a simple 250-350cc Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki and get some miles under your belt before you attempt such a powerful and skittish bike.

Learn on something like a 250 honda rebel (upgrade later)
