l have been obssessed with purchasing a Vespa, but l live in Los Angeles where traffic is a death trap. Does anyone own a Vespa and feel safe riding it in their city?

dude, theres ''millions'' of vespas here in nyc lol well not millions but alot. if people can survive here with all the aggressive drivers im sure you can in L.a.

l ride a scooter around Hartford, Connecticut all the time. It is a blast. Hartford is a LOT different than LA however.

l ride everyday in LA and feel quite safe. We have perfect year round weather and cagers are accustomed to seeing and dealing with lots bikes. Drivers here are also far less aggressive than NYC or Chicago, unless you plan to go to a small town l think this is about as good as it gets.
