How strong are motorcycle kickstands? Can you sit on the bike with weight on the kickstand or will it bend?

It wil be plenty strong enough for you to stand on the bike while the kickstand is down

it will be strong enough because im 200 pounds and mine hold me.

The kickstand may support your weight but not all stands are that strong. Avoid resting your body weight on the stand and you could save a few quid buying a new stand, or worse, repairing the lugs it is bolted to.

i've had a good amount of entertainment with a lady friend sideways on my seat while l was . ahem. behind her, and the kickstand held up quite fine for that

It is plenty strong. I've seen guys put their feet up on the windscreen and lay back like a recliner. The kick stand holds a fair amount of weight.

l cut off a Kawasaki stand with a cut off saw, it was VERY tough material to saw through.

You wont break it or bend it, ever.
