l own a 1951 Fl Harley davidson 1200cc motor cycle & have it presently insured only as a yearly liability payment with Progressive Insurance Co.
l might ride it 4 times a year ?
This month l got my yearly rate or bill & the new rate rose from $55.60 per month to $75.00.
So, my question is does any one know of a more reasonable (money wise) insurance company that l may be able to deal with at a lower yearly rate ?

If you own a stock 51 panhead you need to have comprehensive/full coverage an then you need to make sure the insurance co. you use will replace it. most want to give you the value of the bike and the blue book on that bike is not a 10th of what it is worth.so get antique plate is an insure it for atleast $30,000.00 an happily pay what it cost to insure that piece of history.. look on ebay an see what a stock 51 is selling for.

If you own a bike that costs that much and only ride it four times a year then clearly you are all set on money, so what do you care?

look in to seasonal insurance. that is really high for just liability l pay like $150 a year for a cbr 600. through country insurance

dairyland will insure you for the bike is true value, which is important when insuring an antique. l bet they can insure you full coverage for less than you're currently paying for liability. by the way, why the HELL would you insure a 50+ year old panhead for liability only?! dude, that is nucking futs!
