the only bike really laid out for a big ole boy like yourself would be the Victory now l know you could make any other bike fit ya with some after market goodys but if ya want a turn key get on and ride now kinda deal the big vic is the only choice.

The new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 is are amazing (and cheap). Take a look at them. You can also move up a few hundred cc's. Kawasaki is are bullet proof right now and have the best price out there. Just be prepared for the crap your gona get from the hogs.

l am not quite your size (6'2'' 230lbs) Over the years I've ridden Honda, Triumph, Kawasaki, and Harley without any problems. Personally, l like the Harley Road King but the beauty of riding is that freedom of choice thing.

Probably a cruiser: Suzuki Boulevard gets some good write ups there are a lot of choices out there. Cruise the websites first (Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, H-D, Triumph)
My favourite: Triumph American or Speedmaster
