It depends, if you know what bike you want, and you got a good deal, buy it, but after the class, you may change your mind on the type of bike you want. Waiting to buy after your class may reduce the chance of your dropping your bike while ''practicing''.

Saying that u ''want to take the MSF course extra'' implies that you're over 21, but ur previous question implies that you're 15 1/2. Unless u say that u were asking for somebody else, l will presume that you're under 18.

l had ran into this same dilemma when l was at ur age. l had found an offer for free enrollment in the MSF course with the purchase of a new Honda. However, Californians under 21 cannot obtain their license without the MSF course, & California Vehicle Code section 15500 makes it unlawful for an unlicensed minor to purchase a vehicle. So l ended up taking the MSF course before buying a motorcycle with no regrets.
