l am about 245-250

i also was wondering l have never really rode a bike much and was wondering a good bike to learn and is still fun to ride after you have been riding?
will l be better off sticking with a 600 or will a 1100 be way to much?

600 is good for learning and will give lots of pleasure for most all your desires unless you have need to go crazy and risk your neck - 1100 is more powerful and not that much heavier but not necessarily more feasible

weight limit on the rear seat is something silly like 125 pounds! lol

You will be fine on it, and will take a liking to how agile a current 600cc supersport is.
