any bike should be able to handle that.

I'd go for a honda VFR800 Interceptor.
few bikes are as reliable as honda, and the interceptor is a GREAT all around bike.

u must be a begginer bike rider otherwise u wouldnt ask this question, also ur age or distance ridden wasnt included & they r both important, & do u live in the desert or alaska ?

So with that being said, Your local dealer will have bikesthat r right for ur local area for sure, all name brand bikes (Harley, yamaha, victory, suzuki, honda, kawasaki) will pass the stop & go tests although some will tend to overheat ur legs. The jap bikes run cooler as a rule.

Go to the dealer & SIT on these bikes, find whats comfortable, long distances like 45 mins or more l would buy a cruiser, 30 mins or less if ur youger or like speed a crotch rocket. Dealer will show u these.

Size of bike for some highway & alot local 750 to 1100 cruiser or 600 sports bike.

Kawasaki Versys, Suzuki SV650, Suzuki V-Strom 650. All 3 of these are relatively lightweight and reliable as daily drivers, yet have plenty of power and comfort for the highway. l would lean towards the V-Strom if you ever plan on taking a passenger or take highway trips over 50 miles on a regular basis, and towards the SV650 if you want something a little sportier (but not too sporty). The Versys is a good blend if you're almost always riding solo, but they are difficult to find.
