Does anyone know how to by pass the (Starter circuit cut-off relay) on a Yamaha Thundercat 600 1997
Just changed the sprockets and chain on my thundercat and now the bike will not start up all electrics are working but the started relay just keeps clicking anyone got any ideas ???? cheers
is it possible that if l by pass the (Starter circuit cut-off relay) that the starter motor relay will start working again as it is the one thats making the clicking noise

it may help us answering if you know why your doing it?.alarm?.clutch/side stand cut off removal?.
if its the latter just disconnect them and bridge the contacts.

It could be a miriad of problems try these.
put power to the starter motor direct from a power lead (battery/booster pack)if it turns there is a fault from ur starter button (handle bars) backwards.
so buy a cheap starter button about £4 from any motor factor.wire this up..from battery to button to selenoid to make a circuit. this is the cheapest option to try first.
1.check battery/ output.
2.check relays.
3 check selenoid.
4 check for bad earth/broke or bare wires.hard.
5. check sidestand switch.
6 check clutch switch.
7 sometimes the horn uses same wiring as the starter button so check for bad earth/breaks.does horn work?
8. also check wiring from seleniod to battery is wiring hard? pear it back an check sometimes it fries.

l would consult a motorcycle electrician if l were you before you do more damage to your bike. Sounds like the starter relay needs replacing for starters.
