The right glove is tricky. Too thick & ur hand quickly fatigues from not being able to grip the throttle the way u want to. Too thin & ur hand quickly numbs so that u r not able to grip the throttle the way u want to.

There exists bikes with large enough generators that can support powering a heated jacket & gloves with enough amps leftover to charge the battery. My 750 does not do this. My gloves have a top pocket containing rain slip covers, l insert a hot-pack/heat-pad, & that seems to do the trick for my rides up the mountains to the ski-slopes.

Edit: Just wanted to add that there r a couple of places that apparently do not own a snowplow & that l stick to the one that does. Snow/mud rated tires is another Q&A.

First guy is spot on. Remember your gixxer is chain driven, you will need to clean and lube the chain every time you ride in the rain. It picks up nasty stuff from the wet road.

They do make cold weather gear but im not man enough to ride in the snow.

l will typcially ride in any weather above 45 degrees. You can get cold weather gear almost anywhere, but its pricey.

As far as tires, u should be riding on Mich Pilot Power 2ct is in my opinion.

If ur going to be riding in the snow & salt, u will have to clean & lube ur chain when u get home from riding.

snow pants with a good leather jacket and install a pair of heated grips on the handle bars dressing like this and doing this simple modification to your bike you can ride in weather down into the mid 20 is without any problems as long as the roads are clear of ice and snow and a temporary rain suit for when it rains
