Our cars have to have mufflers...why not motorcycles?Their sound really makes me angry.We all could do without the noise.

Be angry, it is ur right.
But, make darn sure you're angry at the right people.
Most loud motorcycles on the road today r NOT Harley Davidsons.
Aftermarket exhausts r available for all the popular motorcycles.
Many of those cruiser styles may look like a Harley, but they r not.
Read the name on the tank (if it has not been removed).

You may think l am biased, & in a way l am.
My bias is l am tired of being blamed for what other knuckleheads do.
If u want un-biased support of my statement, just take a cruise through the answered questions here in Motorcycles. See for yourself how many want loud exhaust on their bike. Also please notice what bike.

Angry or not there still be noisy motorcycles out there - not only Harleys :)
