l wanna now what people think about it. Its not going on the highway. l also would like to now how to wire my blinkers. The 750 motor needs a rebuild and I am not spending the money to do it. plus the bike is almost all the way down to a rolling chassis.

If you want to use in on the street and you live in the states then it is a horrible idea. 2 strokes will not pass emissions they burn oil with the gas and that leads to a very dirty exhaust.

If it is only for a track bike, go for it, l think it'd be something interesting to see and ride.

it will be alot of work & it will be slowwww!!!! that frame & bike is to heavy for a 250 dirtbike engine. also u will not be able to gear it high enough. l built a roadracer in an alum. frame with cbr wheels & race bodywork with a cr500 engine in it. l had custom sprockets that l had to make. l had to cut the engine cases to get a big enough front sprocket on it & it was still not big enough. l also had a wide ratio tranny in it. it weighed about 250 & it was still not that fast. on the track any gp125 bike would smoke it. so now l have a gp125 bike. so ur frame & a 250 would be a very bad idea. dont waist ur time even if u had a 500 motor.

Two major problems immediately come to mind: the kx 250 has no provisions for powering lights & would not be cheap to modify. You'd also have to offset the front sprocket because it sure wo not line up with the rear one.

Even if u overcome the technical issues, you'd still end-up with a high-revving torqueless wonder which would be hard-pressed to power ur heavy frame.

When faced with a big expense it is tempting to look for a cheap solution, but this is not it. It would cost u less to look for a bent cb650/750/900 whose motor u could transplant into ur frame.
