hi im a 14 year old boy and l am going to be buying a new motorbike very soon an im wondering whats going to be the best suited for me a YZ 125 or a YZ250F l currently ride a ttr230

l would definatly go for the Yz250f, great 4 stroke yamaha power

It also depends on your riding style, if its mostly jumping get the yz, if you do a lot of tracks and climbs, rocks all the enduro stuff get the yz250f

if ur gonna woods ride do not get either stay with ur 230, but if u want a spunkier, 2 stroke bike still for woods riding get a Ktm exc. preferably the 200. a 200 would outrun any 250 4 stroke, & it will even keep up with a 250 2 stroke. the 200 is really nimble & it has tremendous handling. people say that its as nimble as a ktm 125, but u have alot more power. only ktm still makes 2 strokes for woods riding.

if ur gonna race get the yz 125, she will surprise you. it will be hard to woods ride with the yz model because of the way its geared. theyre geared to race so u always have to keep it reved up. while like the ktm ive got u can lug it around. get a bike thats geared for woods riding like l said only ktm makes woods riding 2 strokes. the 125 would keep up with the 250, & its lighter. l advise u to look into ktm. theyre kinda rare but they dominate.

(im guessing u know the difference between a 2 stroke & a 4 stroke.)
